On this day, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose hoisted the tricolor for the first time in Moirang, Manipur. INA Museum is now built in memory of this incident.

Parakram Foundation gifted a computer to Amarkantak Adivasi Vidyalaya for imparting computer education.Till now there was no provision of computer education in the school, hence the Foundation helped in bringing the marginalized society into the mainstream.
